Oh rats!

From the Los Angeles Times:

Sarah Palin still isn’t running for president, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t still want to stir up the race.

In a Tuesday appearance on Fox News, the former Alaska governor and 2008 GOP vice-presidential nominee took Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney to task for his silence during the recent debt-limit debate in Washington, accusing him of being a finger-in-the-wind politician.

“Bless his heart, I have respect for Mitt Romney, but I do not have respect for what he has done through this debt-increase debate,” Palin told host Sean Hannity.

Who knew that rats meowed?!

Original DVD cover

Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts, had stayed largely silent during the debt debate that gripped Washington in recent weeks, before eventually coming out against the accord struck among congressional Republicans, Democrats and President Obama.

Jon Huntsman, a former Utah governor and another Republican running for president, also criticized Romney this week for staying on the sidelines. During a swing through New Hampshire, he said “to dodge the debate or to wait until the debate is over effectively and to take a side, I don’t consider that to be leadership.” Huntsman has said he supports the compromise.
…snip…

Michele Bachmann,” Palin said of the conservative Minnesota congresswoman, who was a vocal opponent of raising the debt ceiling. “She spoke out and she cast her vote according to her principles.”

Translation:  Batshit Bachmann has no chance to win the nomination, so Princess Sarah would rather throw her some attention in order to trash Mittsie in order to boost the chances of Princess’s preferred candidate, fellow Teabagging asswipe, Rick Perry.  Princess knows a candidate Mittsie would make her irrelevant, but a candidate Governor Little Ricky Goodhair would allow her to comment as spokesperson of the Tea Party.

Video at the Los Angeles Times link. Don’t bother to watch her or listen to her screech, but do click over to see how crappy her new hairstyle looks. Yeah, I meow, too!
Tip of the hat to oldcrow at the Big Orange for reminding me that I had this movie on one of my many lists for too long.

I wonder if the princess will endorse anyone…

  2. Oh, look, Ratman vs. Batwoman, except Batwoman is now a rat!

I have just the song for this occasion.

  3. I believe you have finally acheived a portait of the bearwomans essence. The whiskers really do the trick. Artistic genious I tells ya! Of course no amount of photoshop could ever make her relavent, as if she ever was.

Mittsie is not going to get the nomination. The teabaggers will destroy him. I’m hoping that the Rethug primary is going to be a full scale blood bath. We already saw how Boo-hoo had to run for cover during the compromise deal and it’s going to be bad for anyone who doesn’t endorse the rigorous insanity of teabaggery. Meanwhile, Batshit, The Princess and all of the others will be lining up to kiss teabagging butt but the majority of the country is already disgusted with what these fanatics have done and it won’t bode well for whomever crawls out of the muck as the chosen one.

    • before the prayerapalooza, i thought the nominee would be gov. little ricky goodhair. now, i’m no so sure. i know that stupidity is a rethuglican selling point in a nominee, but he might be too stupid. they might be stuck with mittsie now, but i have to wonder if there won’t be a last-minute candidate throwing his hat in the ring.

  5. Mitt is “a finger-in-the-wind” politician? This, from a “wind-through-the-ears” nincompoop…
    (Yes, that was a shout-out to Frank. ;) )

  6. EWW! You got her face to stretch like that.

  7. Poor Mitt.

The guy sold out every single principle he had for the GOP nomination and still got beat out, and now he’s got to deal with the woman who served even less time as a governor than he did.

I wonder if the TP wing is actually going to result in breaking up the Republican Party. That would be kind of neat …

    • i think the rethug party is already broken. it’s just not official. i wonder if the more mainstream rethugs will put on their big boy pants and tell the teabaggers to shut up and go away. they have to realize that the teabaggers might have been useful for one election cycle, but even if they’re useful for one more, they’re still going to eventually bring the party down even further, not to mention the country.
