nonnie, this one is extra good! The “Theater of the Absurd” and “The Water Carriers” particularly tickled my funny bone!

OK, what’s the meaning of the bear paw print?

    blackwater!
this one was a total headache. i had the first page done, but had no idea what to do with the second page. at first, it was a program for the evening, but i got bored. after 4 or 5 versions, i scrapped it all and thought of a chorus. making the chorus page was fun! 😀

nonnie, you evil, evil woman. I’ll never be able to sing in a chorus again…at least, not an all-male chorus. Them and their bloody bowties–someone should pull them tight. What a group of sad sacks; taking a collective leak on stage.

The problem with the Watercarriers, of course, is that they all sing the same tune. All melody, no harmony: a bunch of monophonics. Probably hooked on phonics, too.

The soiree looks devilish–I mean divine. Such a notorious–I mean distinguished–guest list. Though two of them seem to be in hiding. I wonder why?

A truly special year-end treat: be sure to spread the word through [in]judicious posting. You don’t want to deprive all your fans, do you?

  4. Alright … that picture of the chorus is one of the funniest things I’ve seen in satire ANYWHERE for some time. I’d rate that one as being up there with the Capitol Steps, it’s that good. Well done.

The idea of watching Robert Novak dance, though … :shudder:

  5. Friend of the court

Great work nonnie! Looks like Cheney got off a couple shots at the Watercarriers’ buckets though.

    sar,
i was giggling and thinking about what you would think while i was making the image. the strange thing is that, even though these morons never seem to shut up, it is very difficult to find usable images of them with their big mouths open. ❓ go figure! in fact, that pic of robert novak–that’s his mouth, but it is from a different picture than the rest of his ugly mug.
so happy you stopped by, sar, you sweet thing (betcha thought i was gonna say bastard!!) 😛

  7. nonnie9999

    hi wickle! 😀
funny you should mention the capitol steps. my best friend (i swear we were separated at birth) is married to one of the cast of the steps.
    glad you enjoyed it!

    hey chenzhen! 😀
very interesting post you had up today on the surge. always happy to see you here, cz.

  9. nonnie9999

    fotc,
i don’t think cheney’s buckshot is the problem. their arguments have not held water for quite a while now. besides, i think i read somewhere that cheny only shoots at buckets that have lawyers’ faces painted on them! 🙂

    Blackwater! Of course! Duh!

Even though this one was hard, it turned out GRAND. Wow! Having to combine a head and a mouth? You did it so well, that it doesn’t show at all, even knowing to look for it. Wickle is right!

sardonyx… “What a group of sad sacks; taking a collective leak on stage.” HAHAHAHA!

Cheney would shoot his own mother if she got in his way!

    nightowl,
that little section needed a little sumpin’ sumpin’. i am not sure if that red thing below is a tablecloth or something else, but it looked like a tablecloth to me, so that’s how i used it. of course, it was ordered from halliburton and bears the logo in the stitching.

  12. sardonyx

nonnie, of *course* you were going to say that. It was practically inevitable.

The thought of Robert Novak having a mouth transplant is so unsettling that I think I need to have some chocolate right now. Excuse me. 😛

  13. nonnie9999

    😆 😆 😆
i do surgery all the time! that said, i think chocolate is a wonderful idea! glad i bought some yesterday!

  14. nightowl724

“Mouth transplant!” Stop it, sardonyx, you’re killing me!

nonnie, I think the Halliburton-red tablecloth is quite festive and appropriate.

sar is a very funny guy, and he has quite a way with words. if you find that words escape you, ask him, and he will find them for you.

  16. nightowl724

I’ve seen sar’s comments at various places. I just popped over to his blog for the first time. Looks like fun!

  17. nonnie9999

sar has a blog? he never told me! 😯

  18. sardonyx

No blog, just Daily Kos diaries. If there’s another sardonyx out there, I think I need to know… =:O

  19. I can’t get over how awesome the ‘watercarriers’ are!

  20. nightowl724

I think it’s time for me to get some shut-eye…

    I meant ChenZhen’s blog, not sardonyx’s!

For me, some chocolate and then off to bed!

    Good night, I think.

  21. nonnie9999

slapping chenzhen and saying (in my best cher moonstruck voice) get over it!!
glad you enjoyed, cz. and yes, nightowl, cz does have an excellent blog!
sar, there is no other sar. you are one of a kind.
