  1. Okay, that’s a pretty damn adorable puppy-and Michelle actually is that tall.
That White House is going to come alive again! YAHOOOOO!

  2. karen,
i looked at lots of puppies, and when i saw that one, i thought that was one that sasha and malia would fall in love with.

  3. helen,
how nice it was to play with smiling faces instead of mean, nasty grimaces! i keep thinking of the white house having all the doors and windows open, and a fresh breeze blowing though it until all the stench of the last 8 years are gone.

Awww… nonnie, you made me cry – tears of joy…

  5. As my fiancee said, it’s beautiful!

  6. awww, glad they were tears of joy, nightowl. it’s a nice change, isn’t it?

  7. tell her thank you for me, neon vincent! 🙂

they are both wonderful, nonnie! sniff sniff! i love the idea of having those girls in the white house – the youngest is the age of my son! and my daughter loves their clothes!

maybe someone could burn some sagebrush in the white house. in the lutheran tradition, there is actually a short service for moving into a new house.

  9. jenn,
the jewish tradition is to bring bread and salt to a new home. the bread is so that you never go hungry, and the salt is so that you never need the salt of your own tears.
i am glad that you like the posters. i think it will be wonderful to have kids living in the white house again. i just hope that the media leaves them alone so they can be just kids.

  10. The first picture really looks like a movie poster or a DVD cover, what a lovely couple. BO’s life would be a great movie, I hope they will film it someday and I want will Smith to play the role of BO, I am sure he will do good like the way he did in the movie Pursuit of Happyness. Maybe some will find it boring but aside from superheroes and action movies, I also love watching movies that is base on a true to life story.

  11. hello brain health (boy, i can use some of that!),
    welcome to the raisin. 😀
both pictures are actually dvd covers. if you click on the links underneath each one, you can see the originals.
if they make a movie about the life of obama, it should be shown as a double feature with W. the comparison would be so hilarious!
hope you stop by again. the door is always open! 🙂

As for the exorcism at the WH, I read there was a pretty good team in the DC area (took on a big case there back in the 70s). They told me point-blank, “Lucifer, hell yeah! We’ll kick his butt again! Bush-Cheney, are you out of your freakin’ mind?!!!”

Well, it’s about damn time we have aTRUE Pro-American president in the white house!

I went nuts when I found that Obama won. I just wanted to run around hugging random people. I cried with the rest of America. It was a moment that I’ll never forget.

Thanks for voting. We liberals must stick together and continue fighting the good fight!

  14. jeb,
i am just hoping that, when they call someone to do the exorcism, it isn’t bobby jindal! 😯

  15. hello virgomonkey!
    welcome to the raisin! 😀
i recognize your name! i’ve seen you comment at other blogs, and i am very happy that you commented here.
i think we all went a little nuts when obama was declared the winner. beyond feeling happy, there was an enormous sense of relief. suddenly, it felt like there really is going to be a day when chimpy and deadeye dick can’t do us any more harm!

  16. lulu,
    thankyouthankyouthankyou. 😉
