The Midnight Cowboy(1969) Coming Home (1978) to declare Obama Enemy of the State (1998)

From Talking Points Memo:

[…] Jon Voight’s speech last night at the big Republican dinner last night, at which he was the celebrity M.C., [denounced] President Obama as a dangerous radical who is a threat to Israel and the United States. And he paid tribute to the whole who’s who of right-wing punditry and their efforts to stop the “false prophet” Obama:

Original DVD cover.

“We and we alone are the right frame of mind to free this nation from this Obama oppression,” said Voight. “And let’s give thanks to all the great people like Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O’Reilly, Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin, William Bennett, Glenn Beck, Hugh Hewitt, Dennis Prager, Michael Medved, Dennis Miller, Dick Morris, Ann Coulter, John Kasich, Michael Steele, Karl Rove, Newt Gingrich, Thomas Sowell, Victor Davis Hanson, Shelby Steele, Charles Krauthammer, Michelle Malkin, Fred Barnes and so many others.”

“Let’s give thanks to them for not giving up and staying the course, to bring an end to this false prophet Obama.”

They and they alone are in the FAR right frame of mind…

Sounds like another one of those Hollywood Liberals.

  3. Stay the course?

Voight looks just like the Washington shooter in that poster. …

    • i don’t know if he looks like him, but his words were designed to rile up people who think like him, though not as extreme. let me be clear that i don’t think voight was attempting to incite violence. however, i do believe he was trying to stir up anger and distrust of the government. it seems to be the modus operandi of the rethug party these days.

  6. Hense why people are loading guns and shooting people…they really need to stop the rhetoric and fear mongering.

As for Angelina…she can kiss anyone she wants. Pick me, pick me…
