Breakfast of Chumpions

From az central:

As Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign spends money on TV ads in red-state Arizona, Republican nominee Donald Trump on Sunday resumed his feud with one of Arizona’s Republican senators.

U.S. Sen. Jeff Flake appeared on two national Sunday morning public-affairs programs — CBS’ Face the Nation and CNN’s State of the Union — to discuss Trump, whom he has thus far refused to endorse because of the candidate’s harsh anti-illegal-immigration rhetoric and lack of serious policy proposals. On Sunday, Flake would not commit to voting for Trump. Flake also has said Trump’s controversial statements have put Arizona in play for the Democrats this year.

Flake, a member of the bipartisan “Gang of Eight” who collaborated on an immigration-reform bill that passed the Senate in 2013, also criticized the intense immigration speech that Trump delivered Wednesday in Phoenix.

Later Sunday, Trump fired off two angry tweets at Flake.

“The Republican Party needs strong and committed leaders, not weak people such as@JeffFlake, if it is going to stop illegal immigration,” Trump tweeted in his first tweet.

In a second tweet, Trump focused more on Arizona: “The Great State of Arizona, where I just had a massive rally (amazing people), has a very weak and ineffective Senator, Jeff Flake. Sad!”

Flake did not respond to a request for comment on Sunday.

Clinton responded to Trump, too, noting on Twitter that, “There’s going to be no one left in Washington for Trump to work with who he hasn’t insulted.”

  1. Hiya nonnie! Good to see you posting again. Hope all is well with you….
I’m baffled as to how he has any supporters at all. What’s wrong with people?

    • Hey Apples! 🙂

I’ll be damned if I understand why anyone would ever vote for Trumpelthinskin. He’s just a disgusting person. The press goes on and on about how he is an entertainer. How is he entertaining? He’s not very bright, he’s a liar, and he doesn’t give a damn about anyone but himself. He’s like a narcissistic shell with nothing inside.

I think history will not look kindly on the media we have now. It’s all about profits, and the truth goes down the toilet. Hillary has been maligned for years, and she is still standing. She should be held up as a role model. Instead, the press continues their campaign to make this election closer by lowering the bar for Trumpelthinskin and by constantly moving the goalposts for Hillary.

So glad to see you over here. I keep hoping all the Raisinettes will return.

That Image of Trumpelthinskin Flakes is AWESOME !
The media and their love of him is obvious, it’s the same as his self-love of money and attention.
I’ve stopped trying to figure out Hair Trump, no I’ve actually stopped trying to figure out his disciple like followers and just look at the humor in all of it.
    No Carbs All Barbs. Hy-larious!!

    • Hello VillageMutt!

      Welcome to the Raisin! 🙂

I don’t think Trumpelthinskin is very hard to figure out. He’s a narcissist who was never good enough for Daddy. He does whatever he can to get attention and to try to convince others that he measures up to his father. As for his followers, I think a lot of them are happy that they now have permission to let their inner racist/misogynist/antisemitic selves fly. Of course, we have our wonderful media to thank for that. By splashing his image and hateful words on the TV every minute, they normalized him. I think I hold them in more contempt than Hair Trump and his ignorant acolytes. They know better, but they didn’t care, because it was all about making a profit. Of course, that’s what the whole Trumpelthinskin campaign is about, too, but they are pretty open about that. The media will try to convince everyone that they are just trying to be fair.

Thanks for stopping by, looking at the little jokes in the image and for commenting.
