Don’t Merge, Purge!

Direct quote from Sean Insanity Hannity:

Tonight, it’s time for the Trump administration to begin to purge the saboteurs before it’s too late.

Hannity reiterated the theory of a “deep state” of government insiders hell bent on taking Trump down, a theory that’s been spouted by many conservative pundits, including, most recently, Rep. Steve King (R-IA). The Fox host blamed these insiders for the leaks that have been plaguing the Trump administration.

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said Friday that there remain employees within the government who are continuing to promote Barack Obama’s agenda, while a Republican congressman called on President Donald Trump to “purge” them from the federal workforce.

“I don’t think it should come as any surprise that there are people that burrowed into government of the last eight years of the administration and may have believed in that agenda and want to continue to seek it,” Spicer said at the White House press briefing.

During an interview on Friday on MSNBC, Iowa Rep. Steve King said Trump’s got to get rid of those workers who aren’t loyal to the new president.

“I will use the word purge,” he added. “I’ve used it over the last few days. I think that needs to happen. I think it’s a descriptive word that fits well within the English language, and I know there are people that will attach extra meaning to that. I don’t know a better word to use.”

  1. Paranoia rules in the WH under the current regime. Leaks can come from his own people. That is the nature of politics and of anything that has do with government or any business. They can purge and purge and purge all they want but it will not stop the swamp/cesspool from leaking.

    • Paranoia is their policy. Bannon hates government, and he wants chaos. Mission accomplished.

      • Didnt’ they now. It’s the damdest and slickest election pulled on brain washed voters.

        • The voters weren’t brainwashed. They were where they were, and Twitler and his crew met them there. He didn’t change any minds. He echoed what they were already thinking. And shame on them.

          • Okay that’s one way to look at it. However, he did lots of hooping it up at his rallies, etc. Yea, Twitter probably played a hand but there was more to his calculated madness with Bannon and his ilk leading the way. T. was like the Messiah coming to save the desperate .
