Twitter Users Take Down ‘Complicit’ Ivanka Trump’s Pride Month Praise
Ivanka Trump tried to show her support for LGBTQ Pride Month on Thursday, but her critics shut her down almost as fast as she could type and send two celebratory tweets.
“Logging back on after Shavuot, wishing everyone a joyful #Pride2017. This month we honor the #LGBTQ community,” she wrote on June 1, the first day of Pride Month.
“I am proud to support my LGBTQ friends and the LGBTQ Americans who have made immense contributions to our society and economy,” Trump added in a second tweet.

Almost immediately, people on Twitter pointed out that the first daughter’s messages of support of the LGBTQ community clashes with the actions of her father, President Donald Trump

Although Trump has called himself a friend of the LGBTQ community, the president has stripped policies that protect transgender students’ bathroom rights and Vice President Mike Pence has openly opposed marriage equality and appeared to support so-called “conversion therapy”.

Considering that Ivanka Trump, who is an official, unpaid adviser to the president, has been accused of being complicit for not pushing back on some of her father’s policies, it’s understandable that people are questioning her genuine support for the LGTBQ community.
HYSTERICAL RAISINS 
“Fake” Ivanka. Anyone with common sense should be able to tell that her “tweets” are fake. There is no sincerity and those folks in the WH do not care about gender equality. One by one Model T is dismantling every thing good that was accomplished during the Obama administration.
And yea, I had read that Pence is a proponent of conversion therapy. Reminds me of nutty Bachmann and her effeminate husband who I think had some sort of business going or promoted conversion therapy. This is like trying to erase the stripes on a tiger. Apparently they know nothing about wiring of the brain and the way hormones affect gender.
Ivanka’s concern for the unwashed mases is about as real as her hair extensions, fake books, chin implant and her 2nd or 3rd nose.

Didn;t know Ivanka had had “work’ done. It msut have cost many millions.

She’s about as real as her father’s tan.
They always seem to think they can substitute supportive rhetoric for supportive action and everyone will be fooled. Talk is cheap.
I cringe when I hear her speak, because she’s so phony. She’s been groomed to speak in that whispery calm voice, just as her daddy-husband’s and her stepmother’s signatures are stylized. They are a walking reality show, where everything is scripted and edited to appear a certain way.
Oh no! Trumps are spoiling Jane Austen too! Jesus Christ. Can’t they leave bad enough alone? 🙂
I know! They ruin everything! Jane Austen and I share a birthday (different year…well, different century, in fact), so this is extra painful to me.
