As they fleshed out the budget blueprint released Thursday morning by the White House, Office of Management and Budget director Mick Mulvaney said officials from the administration of President Donald Trump asked themselves: Can we ask the taxpayer to pay for this?
For a dramatic uptick in military funding, Mulvaney said, the answer was yes. For a wide array of domestic programs, it turns out, the answer was no.

From The Atlantic:
Michael Flynn and Sebastian Gorka share a couple of things. Both men are rabidly anti-Islam, and both seem to have been insufficiently vetted by the Trump White House.
Gorka is a top terrorism adviser to Trump; like Flynn, he has a long record of militant attitudes toward Islam, and like Flynn, his foreign ties are now coming under serious scrutiny. The Forward reports Thursday that officers of Vitézi Rend, an anti-Semitic, quasi-Nazi Hungarian nationalist group, say Gorka is a sworn member. Gorka wore a medal typically worn by Vitézi Rend members to a January 20 inauguration ball, but said at the time that it was a gesture honoring his late father. He has also at times referred to himself as Sebastian L. v. Gorka, using a “v.” initial employed by Vitézi Rend members.

From Los Angeles Daily News:
The White House and Republican leaders in Congress scrambled on Tuesday to shore up support for their health care bill as critics went on the attack over new estimates [from the Congressional Budget Office] that 14 million people would lose insurance coverage in the first year alone.
With Washington blanketed in a rare March snow, congressional GOP leaders and top aides to President Donald Trump got to work trying to salvage the legislation, which they hope to push through the House next week and the Senate the week after that. Trump has promised to sign the bill, fulfilling seven years of GOP promises to undo “Obamacare,” even though the legislation breaks the president’s own past promises to safeguard Medicaid and provide health insurance for all.

From The San Diego Union Tribune:
Prior to becoming secretary of state under President Donald Trump, Rex Tillerson used the alias “Wayne Tracker” to exchange emails about climate change while he was CEO of ExxonMobil, a New York prosecutor revealed in a letter filed in court Monday.
The letter by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman alleges that Tillerson used his middle name, Wayne, in an email address bearing the alias “to send and receive materials regarding important matters, including those concerning to the risk-management issues related to climate change.”

Kellyanne Conway said she was “not Inspector Gadget” or “in the job of having evidence” when quizzed on television about wiretapping claims.
In a bid to make light of her suggestion that Barack Obama could have spied on Donald Trump using a microwave, she referenced the 1980s cartoon character who had thousands of high-tech gadgets installed in his body.
“I’m not Inspector Gadget,” she told CNN. “I don’t believe people are using their microwave to spy on the Trump Campaign. However, I am not in the job of having evidence. That’s what investigations are for.”

House Republicans are taking fire from all sides as they seek to push through their plan to repeal and replace ObamaCare, known as the American Health Care Act (AHCA).
Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) has guaranteed the bill will pass Congress, but it won’t be a smooth ride to President Trump’s desk.
It’s all about the marketing, right? So I have taken the liberty of redesigning the GOP AHCA.
Direct quote from Sean Insanity Hannity:
Tonight, it’s time for the Trump administration to begin to purge the saboteurs before it’s too late.
From TALKING POINTS MEMO:
Hannity reiterated the theory of a “deep state” of government insiders hell bent on taking Trump down, a theory that’s been spouted by many conservative pundits, including, most recently, Rep. Steve King (R-IA). The Fox host blamed these insiders for the leaks that have been plaguing the Trump administration.
