Even though they have the exact same style of speaking and propensity to execute innocent people, current Texas Gov. Rick Perry and former Texas Gov. George W. Bush are very different politicians. And they don’t like each other, according to the New York Times. Or rather their staffs and “camps” don’t like each other.

Rick Perry was Bush’s lieutenant governor. Whether the two men personally like each other is totally unknown (politicians don’t like other humans anyway; that is why they go into politics), but Perry is “signaling” that he is very different from Bush because Bush was a terrible president who left office hated by everyone and Rick Perry would maybe like to be the next president (or he is at least surrounded by people who think he could be the next president).

It’s Comical, Part 7: King of the Hill Edition

One of my favorite animated shows on television was King of the Hill.  It took place in Texas, so it naturally reminded me of Chimpy.  Since it’s the 10th anniversary of the Supreme Court appointing Chimpy to the preznitcy, it’s fitting we begin with a picture of him (and even more fitting that it celebrates the end of his reign, knowing all the damage he did)…

Seems that Princess Sarah Palin is a little pissed off at that blue-blooded Barbara Bush. I think that Princess had better realize that she’s feuding with perhaps the grizzliest of mamas when she picks on Babs (or Bar, as Poppy calls her). Being blue-blooded has taught Babs to be as nasty as she wants to be while wearing a smile. Princess could learn a thing or two from her. Here’s a look back at Babs. George H. W. Undoubtedly the most startling moment in Matt Lauer’s conversation with George W. Bush came in the first five minutes of the interview, when Bush recounted his mother’s miscarriage—and how she had showed him the fetus in a jar.

“She says to her teenage kid, ‘Here’s a fetus,'” Bush recounted to Lauer, referring to himself in the third person. “There’s no question that it affected me,” Bush added.

Do you watch too much TV, kids? So do I. I love sitcoms, and my new favorite is Modern Family. If you haven’t seen it yet, you should. It’s hilarious, yet somehow quite sweet and touching.

I think I made them, because Distributorcap and I were going to do a joint posting, but we never quite got it all together.
