Hey, kids, remember how quiet Yertle McConnell has been when it comes to all the shit spewing out of Hair Furor’s mouth and President Steve Bannon’s pen? Well, I guess the honeymoon is finally over. A straw finally broke the elephant’s back.
From USA TODAY ON POLITICS:
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said he doesn’t view Russian President Vladimir Putin in the same way that President Trump does.
During an interview on CNN’s State of the Union, the Kentucky Republican called Putin a “thug” and former KGB agent who was not elected in a way most would consider “a credible election.” Putin also invaded the sovereign nation of Ukraine and “messed around in our elections,” said McConnell.

I was watching TV news this morning, and up popped a picture of Mike Pence. I don’t know what was being discussed, because all I could think of was how much he resembles an egg. Maybe you can blame it on the fact that I hadn’t had breakfast yet, or maybe it’s because….
See what I mean, kids? I wasn’t yolking. Suddenly, everything made a little more sense!
(Uh oh! Ham isn’t kosher. What about Ivanka?)
So, anyhoo, Vice President Ovum was on Meet the Press today. Keep reading and find out how he got egg all over his face!

From THE Reliable Source at The Washington Post:
Celebrities: Don’t get into a fight with anyone carrying a video camera. It’s the newest weapon in the ideological arsenal, and never ends well.
On Wednesday night, Bill O’Reilly shoved a camera-wielding man with his umbrella while on his way to a White House holiday party. The Fox News star upped the stakes by telling a nearby policeman he wanted to press charges against the protester. Within hours, it was all on YouTube, fodder for his critics across the Web.
Which is pretty much the point of videorazzi: Show the target in an embarrassing light.
O’Reilly’s case was a little different because Brendan Lane didn’t plan to ambush him. Lane, a paid organizer for Wisconsin Jobs Now, was filming outside the Willard Hotel Wednesday because Newt Gingrich was holding a fundraiser inside. Someone spotted O’Reilly on the sidewalk, and Lane jogged through the pouring rain to catch up.
“Leave me alone right now,” warned O’Reilly. Lane asked, “Mr. O’Reilly, were you at Gingrich’s fundraiser?” He wasn’t, it turns out — but that’s when O’Reilly knocked Lane into the street with his umbrella and taunted, “Hey, sorry about that.”

From News Hounds:
Bret Baier visited The O’Reilly Factor tonight to discuss his somewhat contentious interview with Mitt Romney the day before. Apparently, Romney was not pleased and complained that Baier was overly aggressive. Contentious interview with a Republican candidate? A discussion on the top-rated O’Reilly about it in which Baier suggests Romney is a sissy? Is Fox throwing its weight behind its former contributor Newt Gingrich – who, it just so happens, had an hourlong lapdog interview with Hannity tonight? Or is Baier really trying to be fair and balanced with tough questions?

From Doug Molitor at THE HUFFINGTON POST:
Fox News’s Megyn Kelly thinks cops pepper-spraying unresisting prisoners isn’t so bad, because after all, it’s “a food product, essentially.”
My advice to Megyn would be first, to spell her name with a normal vowel.
My second bit of advice would be not to eat out for a while. Definitely not at any restaurant where the waiters aren’t her fellow one-percenters.

And I hope you didn’t have to eat at Megyn Kelly’s house.

A reviewer for the official National Park Service bookstore at Ford’s Theatre has recommended that Bill O’Reilly’s bestselling new book about the Lincoln assassination not be sold at the historic site “because of the lack of documentation and the factual errors within the publication.”
Rae Emerson, deputy superintendent at Ford’s Theatre, which is a national historic site under the jurisdiction of the National Park Service, has penned a scathing appraisal of O’Reilly’s “Killing Lincoln: The Shocking Assassination that Changed America Forever.” In Emerson’s official review, which I’ve pasted below, she spends four pages correcting passages from O’Reilly’s book before recommending that it not be offered for sale at Ford’s Theatre because it is not up to quality standards.
