From THINK PROGRESS:
During an interview on Sunday’s edition of This Week, Jay Sekulow — one of President Trump’s lawyers — admitted he was wrong last year when he claimed Trump “wasn’t involved” in dictating a misleading statement for his son about the infamous June 2016 Trump Tower meeting between his campaign and Kremlin-connected Russians who offered political dirt on Hillary Clinton.

Following a report that President Trump dictated a statement to his son Donald Trump Jr. regarding his meeting with a Kremlin-linked lawyer, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders asserted that Mr. Trump only “weighed in” and “offered suggestions” on Trump Jr.’s statement.
“He certainly didn’t dictate,” Sanders said at a White House press briefing Tuesday afternoon. “But you know he — like I said he weighed in, offered suggestion, like any father would do.”

From BUSINESS INSIDER:
President Donald Trump’s lawyer faced difficult questions on Sunday about Donald Trump Jr.’s attempt to glean damaging information on Hillary Clinton during a meeting with a Kremlin-connected Russian lawyer.
While Trump Jr.’s lawyers have remained primarily behind the scenes, the president’s personal lawyer has become a ubiquitous presence on television, performing the so-called “Full Ginsberg” by appearing on all five major political talk shows on Sunday.

It’s hard to keep track of things when you’re making them up as you go. The new line from the Trump administration is a breezy “what investigation?” flick of the wrist to bat away questions about the reported expansion of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe to include not just Russian election meddling and Trump’s ties to any such effort, but also possible obstruction of justice by the president. On Sunday, the president trotted out his lawyer, Jay Sekulow, to do the Sunday morning talk shows.
On Meet the Press, Sekulow stressed that the president isn’t even under investigation.
