It’s kinda sad that there are so few Hanukkah specials out there. There are, of course, some great ones to choose from like the The Rugrats Hanukkah episodes, the Even Stevens Hanukkah special, or even An American Tale. And yes, if you wanted to, you could include the Adam Sandler animated movie Eight Crazy Nights. But there just aren’t that many specials dedicated to Hanukkah as there are for Christmas.
That’s why this year the Hallmark Channel decided to try and tackle the lack of Hanukkah movies, and apparently they failed spectacularly at it.

Did you see the Stormtroopers…I mean, the Rethuglicans, butt-hurt that the Dems (and other Rethugs) were holding a hearing in which a top Defense Department official was suppose to testify about Twitler’s dealings with Ukraine, storm the closed-door hearing?

From Roll Call:
Rep. Mo Brooks said if he was Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, he would resign in the wake of the latest failure of the GOP health bill.
Brooks, R-Ala. said McConnell was “responsible” for the bill’s failure and that he was putting the GOP’s policy plans in jeopardy.
“If Mitch McConnell cannot get the job done on this, how is he going to get the job done on the rest of President Trump’s agenda over the next 3½ years?” Brooks asked in an interview with CNN.

From The Huntsville Times:
Perhaps Congressman Parker Griffith should run ads in Washington to remind his new party which side he’s on.
A letter sent this month by an attack arm of the Republican members of Congress seeks money to defeat Griffith and other “vulnerable out-of-touch Democrats.”
“We’ve been up on the air all over Alabama’s 5th Congressional District so that voters there know your Democrat in Congress has been falling in line with Nancy Pelosi’s destructive liberal agenda,” reads the solicitation.

From Fox News (seriously!):
Rep. Parker Griffith, the Alabama Republican who recently crossed over from the Democratic Party, is facing a mini-revolt from some home-state GOP officials who question his loyalty to his newly adopted party.
The local Republican operations for two counties inside Griffith’s 5th District passed a set of resolutions in the past week urging Republicans to elect anyone but Griffith in the state’s June primary.
The Limestone County Republican Party passed a set of measures Thursday night, one of which called on Griffith to turn over all campaign money he raised as a Democrat and not use any of it in his race for re-election — Griffith’s third-quarter fundraising report showed he had $619,000 on hand. The county party also recommended that Republicans support one of the other two GOP candidates in the race.
The Madison County Republican Party on Monday passed a measure recommending the same thing, as well as urging the congressional delegation and national party not to get involved in the primary.
So how do you like being a Rethuglican now?
